Balkan Countries
I’m trying to memorize the countries that exists in the balkan region. The name of ‘balkan’ taken from Balkan Mountains that stretch throughout the whole Bulgaria.
Peninsula means a region that almost entirely surrounded by water on three sides while still connected to the mainland. For example, Arabian Peninsula, Balkan Peninsula, Anatolian Peninsula, Italian Peninsula, etc.
