How to Make Scrambled Egg With Cheese
Lately I’m struggled to make cheese scrambled egg without making the cheese sticking to the pan.
So the better way to make scrambled egg with cheese is:
- use non-sticking pan, set the heat to medium-low.
- whisk the egg, give it a pinch of salt
- put butter or whatever until it spread evenly
- pour the egg
- wait 10-15 secs until the edge of the egg starts to set
- use silicone spatula to push the edges toward the center
- when the egg is 75% cooked, meaning the egg no longer fluid but still slightly wet and glossy, put the cheese on top
- tear and scatter the cheese with your spatula
- turn off the heat. the residual heat on the egg is enough to melt the cheese
- gently fold the egg over the cheese piece
tips:
- go with less salt if you use cheese cuz cheese is alr salty
- keep the heat low
- don’t over scramble if you want to make the resulting egg fluffy
